As a Community Artist with Cultural Services by the City of Joensuu I made community art with elderly people and people living in the country side areas of Joensuu. The starting point for my projects was 15x15 cm size. In the pictures graffiti on birch bark by youngsters in Tuupovaara, image transfers on plywood by seniors in Uimaharju and Tuupovaara, art bread by members of the Martta Association Uimaharju.

A communal art intervention - Mauno and his memories. The pictures of Mauno were taken at the Municipality Museum of Tuupovaara. Memories were written together with Teuvo Kuivalainen from Tuupovaara-Association. Mauno’s Memories was published in social media channels of the City of Joensuu at The Week of Older People. Art work at Selkie skating ramp. Artists Laura Melkinen and Miia Rosenius painted the other side of the ramp in 2020 and a community art workshop in street art was held as part of the Regional Day of North Karelia. In summer 2021 the artists painted also the other side giving the ramp the final touch as an environmental art work.

Community art made at the childrens summer camp in Kontioniemi. The art piece consisting of the fishing net and the fish made by children was on display at the Finland100 celebration. Organised by the Association of Kontioniemi in Kontioranta area.

A public winter performance by youngsters in Rovaniemi city center. Workshops by artists from different art fields and a multicultural group of youngsters. This project begun from my co-operation idea for the Cross-art Collective Piste. My area of responsibility was winter art and set design.
